Installation Process

The following steps can be completed in advance or during the installation call:


Kandji uses instance-level bearer tokens to control access to the API To generate one:


  1. Login and click on Settings.

  2. Click the Access tab.

  3. Click the Add API Token button to create a new API key.

    1. Name: Amplifier Security Production

    2. Click Create. 

    3. Kandji will display a modal with the API token. Enter it in the installation form. Note: You will not be able to see the token details again.

    4. Click Next.

  4. Click Configure to manage the API permissions for this specific token

    1. Ensure the following permissions are set:

      1. Device details (READ_ONLY)

      2. Device list (READ_ONLY)

      3. Device ID (READ_ONLY)

      4. Device List Library Items (READ_ONLY)

    2. Click Save.

  5. Once you create your first token, you will see your instance-specific API URL

    1. Enter it in the installation form
