Design User Engagements With JAMF Smart Groups As Triggers

Created by Thomas Donnelly, Modified on Tue, 19 Nov at 2:05 AM by Shreyas Sadalgi

Estimated Time to Complete: 5 minutes

Product: Amplifier

1. In Amplifier, click on the Engagement Studio in the left navigation  and then CREATE ENGAGEMENT to start building.

2. Fill out the fields for Engagement Title and Engagement Description and select Create. For the title we recommend something like JAMF - <SmartGroup Name> so it’s easy to find later.

3. For FINDINGS, click on EDIT and select one (or more) Custom Findings that you created earlier.

4. For USER COHORT, select the groups of users you would like to engage. Note: You can Include or Exclude groups that are shown and available from your Identity Management provider.

5. For ENGAGEMENT CHANNEL, select all the ways (Slack, Teams, Email) you would like to engage with Users.

6. Now that you are done with your basic configuration, you can start having fun by dragging prompt pills over to design how Ampy should interact with users.

You can learn more about each of the Engagement Studio Pills that serve as prompts for the AI powered conversational engagements with end users, so they can take the action to resolve the Smart Group finding.
