Estimated Time to Complete: 30 minutes
Products: JAMF + Okta / Google / MS Entra ID + Slack / MS Teams + Amplifier
This 30-minute setup guide provides everything you need to set up Amplifier as an AI automation layer for JAMF Smart Groups. Amplifier helps you seamlessly engage with employees and teams to coordinate the remediation of Smart Group exceptions. Whether you're removing unwanted software or managing OS upgrades or patching computers for vulnerabilities or just looking to reboot computers -- Amplifier has you covered.
Amplifier leverages JAMF Smart Groups as triggers to engage relevant end users (to whom the computer belongs to) and take remediation actions to resolve the exception related to the Smart Group. Amplifier collaborates with end users where they work (Slack, MS Teams, Browser, Email, etc) in a human friendly way to empower them to flexibly resolve the exception with existing IT & Security tools. The Smart Group triggers and resolution actions can be setup in Amplifier Engagement Studio where you can design end user engagements.
STEP 1 - Setup Identity, JAMF and Chat Integrations (15 Mins)
If you're not already an Amplifier customer, you will need to setup a few integrations. You'll need an Identity provider (Okta, Google, MS EntraID), a chat communication tool (Slack, MS Teams) and JAMF. It only takes a few minutes for each integration!
