Created by David Esposito, Modified on Tue, 29 Oct at 7:57 AM by David Esposito

Installation

Navigate to the Ampy listing in the Chrome Web Store. Click the install button and follow any other instructions. The Chrome browser extension automatically authenticates based on the first profile that is logged into Chrome. If you are having any trouble logging in, ensure that your email used to log in is the one that is managed by Amplifier.

Updates

Updates are automatically pushed and rolled out on a regular basis. Users do not need to take any action to keep their browser extension up to date.

Check Your Version

  • Open Google Chrome and go to chrome://extensions
  • Look at the version number on the Ampy Chrome extension. It is listed next to the extension name with the format #.##.##

Force Update Chrome Extension

To force update a Chrome extension, you can enable Developer mode and then click the Update button:

  1. Open Google Chrome and go to chrome://extensions
  2. Toggle Developer mode on in the top-right corner
  3. Click the Update button
  4. Toggle Developer mode off again

This is not required, but might be helpful in certain circumstances when working with support to resolve bugs or issues authenticating.
